Results of the Altech Scheme of Arrangement Consideration Election


Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on 27 June 2013 regarding the
acquisition by Altron’s wholly owned subsidiary, Altron Finance Proprietary Limited, of the entire
issued ordinary share capital of Allied Technologies Limited (“Altech”) that Altron and its
subsidiaries did not already own, by way of a scheme of arrangement (“Scheme”) in terms of
section 114 of the Companies Act of 2008, as amended.


On 16 August 2013, Altech shareholders made their election in terms of the Scheme
Consideration as follows:

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the scheme consideration was settled on 19 August
2013, 91.2% by way of cash and 8.8% by way of the issue of new Altron participating preference
shares. Altech will be delisted from the JSE Limited with effect from today, 20 August 2013.
