POSTING OF ANNUAL REPORT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

1.    POSTING OF ANNUAL REPORT
      Shareholders are advised that Acucap’s annual report, incorporating a notice of annual general
      meeting (“AGM”), was lodged with the JSE Limited (“JSE”) and posted to shareholders today,
      30 July 2013.  The annual report will also be available on Acucap’s website
      (www.acucap.co.za) from today. An abridged report has not been published as the
      summarised audited group results published on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE
      on 13 June 2013 remain unchanged. KPMG Inc. audited Sycom’s annual financial statements
      and their unqualified audit opinion is available for inspection at the company’s registered office.

2.    NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

      Notice is hereby given that Acucap’s AGM will be held at the offices of KPMG, Meeting Room 1, 
      8th Floor, 1 Mediterranean Street, Foreshore, Cape Town on Wednesday, 28 August 2013 at
      15h30 to transact the business as stated in the notice of AGM.

      In terms of section 59(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, the record date for purposes of
      determining which shareholders are entitled to participate in and vote at the AGM (being the
      date on which a shareholders must be registered in the company’s securities register in order
      to participate in and vote at the AGM) is Friday, 16 August 2013.
