Resignation of Chief Financial Officer and appointment of an acting Chief Financial
Officer

The Board of Gijima ("the Board") wishes to inform shareholders that the Board has appointed
Ms Liesl Tweedie as acting Chief Financial Officer and director in Mr Carlos Ferreira's place,
following his resignation on Monday, 8th July, 2013.
An acting CFO has been appointed in order to facilitate the process of advertising and
interviewing an appropriate candidate to fill the position permanently.


Ms Tweedie, B Compt, CA(SA), completed her articles at KPMG. She worked at ABB for 17
years of which the last five years was in the position of Country Controller and Deputy CFO. Ms
Tweedie commences her role on Thursday, 11th July, 2013.


The Board has full trust and confidence in Ms Tweedie’s ability and remains positive about the
outlook of the Company.
