APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

In terms of Section 3.59(a) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Fountainhead unitholders are advised
that Redefine Properties Limited (“Redefine”) has appointed Mr Len van Niekerk as Chief Executive Officer of
Fountainhead, effective 18 June 2013. The acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Alex Phakathi will resume his
role as Acquisitions and Disposals Executive at Redefine from 01 July 2013. Alex will remain with
Fountainhead for the month of June to ensure a smooth handover.

Len previously, was the Managing Director of SA Corporate Real Estate Fund and holds a Bachelor of
Commerce Honours from the University of Johannesburg. He has a total of 16 years investment experience,
including being a rated listed property analyst at Standard Bank and head of quoted property at Old Mutual
Investment Group South Africa.
