Update Announcement and Renewal of Cautionary AH-Vest Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1989/000100/06) Share code: AHL ISIN code: ZAE000129177 (“AH-Vest” or “the Company”) UPATE ANNOUNCEMENT AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY Shareholders are referred to cautionary announcement incorporated in the interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2012 (“interim results”) as released on SENS on 14 January 2013 and are advised that with regard to the advice to exercise caution in respect of the cancellation by JR 209 Investments (Pty) Ltd (“the landlord”) of the lease agreement entered into in respect of the premises known as Twenty One Industrial Estate, the Company has now received summons in terms of which the landlord has claimed, in the first instance, an amount of R42 523 377, plus interest at prime plus 2% calculated from 15 February 2013 to date of payment; and in the alternative, an amount of R9 272 401.60, plus interest at prime plus 2% from date of summons to date of payment. The Company has filed an intention to defend both of these claims and shareholders will be kept informed of any further developments in this regard. With regard to the cautionary relating to the stock concerns following the relocation of the head office facilities, the Company is in the process of implementing a new accounting system and shareholders are accordingly advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities until a further announcement on the stock is made.
