DIRECTORATE ANNOUNCEMENT

RETIREMENT OF GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR AND APPOINTMENT OF SUCCESSOR

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
the Board of Famous Brands has announced that Group Financial
Director (“Group FD”), Mr Stanley Aldridge, will be retiring on 30
June 2013, and accordingly will not seek re-election at the Group’s
Annual General Meeting to be held on 25 July 2013.

Stanley joined Famous Brands as Group FD in 2008 and has made a
significant contribution to the Group’s success during that time.
The Board is pleased to be retaining his services as Chairman of
several of the Group’s subsidiary joint venture companies.

Stanley will be succeeded as Group FD on 01 July 2013 by Mr Norman
Richards, who joined the Group in 2012 as Change Management
Executive. Norman is an FCIS, has an MBA degree and is a 21-year
veteran of SAB Beer Division where he held a number of Executive
positions in Finance, both locally and internationally. Post-2001
Norman founded and managed a number of consulting companies and a
software services company, all within the Supply Chain field.

The Board welcomes Norman in his new capacity and looks forward to
his contribution.
