The SBK8 Notes are subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Programme Memorandum dated 20 October 2005 (the “Programme Memorandum”) as read together with the Applicable Pricing Supplement issued in respect of the SBK8 Notes dated 5 April 2006 (the “Applicable Pricing Supplement”). In terms of the Applicable Pricing Supplement, the SBK8 Notes mature on 10 April 2018, however, they are redeemable at the option of Standard Bank on 10 April 2013, subject to the prior written approval of the Registrar of Banks.
