CHANGE TO DIRECTORATE

Shareholders are advised that Mr Carl Coutts-Trotter will cease to be an executive director of
the company on 31 December 2012 and will function as a non-executive director of Sabvest
from that date.

Mr Coutts-Trotter currently also holds the position of Executive Deputy Chairman of Sabvest’s
largest associated company, SA Bias Industries (Pty) Ltd, and will be full time in this position
from 2013. However he will continue as a non-executive director of Sabvest’s two other
associated companies – Set Point Group (Pty) Ltd and Sun Spray Food Ingredients (Pty) Ltd.
