                               CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS



In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, Brikor’s shareholders are
hereby notified of the following changes to the board of directors of Brikor :

Dr Ben Ngubane has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the board with effect
from 1 November 2012. Dr Ngubane, SABC Chairman and Chairman of the Land and Agricultural
Development Bank of South Africa, has served on many Councils and has received numerous awards,
including Honorary Doctorates from the University of Natal, University of Zululand, Medical University of
South Africa, University of Free State and the International Christian University Tokyo, Japan.

Mr Colin Madolo has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the board with effect
from 1 November 2012. Mr Madolo, a qualified engineer, has worked as an engineer for Anglo Coal and
Eskom and is currently the Managing Director of Amibex (Pty) Ltd.

The board of Brikor welcomes Dr Ngubane and Mr Madolo to the board of directors.
