ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM ANNOUNCES THE RESIGNATION OF
GODFREY GOMWE AND THE APPOINTMENT OF KHANYISILE KWEYAMA AS
A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY

The board of Anglo American Platinum announces the
resignation of Godfrey Gomwe and the appointment of
Khanyisile Kweyama as a non-executive director of the
Company, effective 15 October 2012.

Ms Kweyama is the Executive Director of Anglo American
South Africa and has previously served on the Executive
Committee of Anglo American Platinum and has held
executive roles at Barloworld‚ Altech and BMW South
Africa.

Cynthia Carroll, Chairman of Anglo American Platinum, said:
“I would like to thank Godfrey for his significant
contribution over the past two years. I would also like to
welcome Khanyisile, who brings extensive commercial and
human resources insight to the Board. We look forward to
