APPLICATION FOR BLOCK LISTING


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for block listings
totalling 2,413,980 ordinary shares of US$ 0.10 each in the Company. These shares are being allotted to
trade on the London Stock Exchange and will be admitted to the Official List pursuant to the Company’s
obligations under the following schemes:

SABMiller plc Approved Executive Share Option Plan 2008                         25,000 shares
SABMiller plc Executive Share Option Plan 2008                                  1,465,380 shares
SABMiller plc South African Executive Share Option Plan 2008                    923,600 shares

The shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
