                              FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT



In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading
statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to
be reported on will differ by more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding period.

Further to the trading statement released on SENS on 26 June 2012, a review of the financial
results for the year ended 30 June 2012 by management has indicated that the earnings per
share increase is expected to be between 147.3% and 167.3% and the headline earnings per
share increase is expected to be between 121.1% and 141.1%, resulting in an estimated range of
7.30 to 7.89 cents and 7.25 to 7.91 cents respectively, compared to the earnings per share of
2.95 cents and the headline earnings per share of 3.28 cents for the year ended 30 June 2011.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by Poynting’s auditors. The Company's financial results are expected to be released
on SENS on or about 28 September 2012.
