DBSA BOARD ANNOUNCES NEW CEO Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) Company registration no: 16/000157/00 DBSA BOARD APPOINTS NEW CEO The New DBSA CEO, Mr. Patrick Dlamini The Board of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Patrick Dlamini, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. Mr. Dlamini will take over the reigns from the Acting-Chief Executive Officer, Mr. TP Nchocho in September 2012, following the resignation of Mr. Paul Baloyi in April 2012. Prior joining the DBSA, Mr. Dlamini held several senior management positions, including the Chief Executive Officer position at the Air Traffic and Navigation Service (ATNS), an Executive Vice President position at SAA Cargo, and a Business Unit Executive position at Transnet Limited. During his tenure at ATNS, he spearheaded a turned around strategy that transformed it (ATNS) from a state which was technically insolvent to a sound profitable position. Under his leadership, the ATNS became an efficient and a world-class service provider in the Aviation industry. Mr. Dlamini holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Westville and an Advanced Specialist Financial Management Programme from the Natal Technicon. He has also completed an Executive Development Programme and an Advanced Executive Programme through the Wits Business School and the Kelloggs School of Management, respectively. He is about to complete his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree through the University of Wales. The DBSA Board under the chairmanship of Mr. Jabu Moleketi thanked Mr. Nchocho for a sterling work during his tenure and wished Mr. Dlamini good luck in his new position.
