Annual Report

Further to Keaton Energys preliminary summarised audited group results for the year ended
31 March 2012, published on the Securities Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 30
May 2012, shareholders are advised that the Keaton Energy Annual Report for the year
ended 31 March 2012 was published today on its website (www.keatonenergy.co.za) and
contains no modifications to the aforementioned published preliminary summarised results.
Annual Reports have been submitted for printing and will be mailed to shareholders as soon
as is practicable.


Annual General Meeting

Shareholders are advised that the Annual General Meeting of Keaton Energy will be held at
Silverwood Manor, 113 Mount Street, Bryanston, 2191, South Africa on Tuesday, 28 August
2012 at 09h00, to transact the business as stated in the notice of the Annual General Meeting
forming part of the Annual Report.



Shareholders are referred to the notice of Annual General Meeting forming part of the Keaton
Energy Annual Report and are advised of the correct dates relating to the record date and last
day to trade relating to voting at the Annual General Meeting as follows:



        the board of directors of the Company has determined that, in terms of section
        62(3)(a), as read with section 59 of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), the
        record date for the purposes of determining which shareholders of the Company are
        entitled to participate in and vote at the Annual General Meeting is Friday, 17 August
        2012; and

        accordingly, the last day to trade Keaton Energy shares in order to be recorded in the
        register to be entitled to vote will be Friday, 10 August 2012.
