Shareholders are advised that the Annual Financial Statements of the Company    
for the year ended 31 December 2011 will be posted on Friday, 29 June 2012      
and contain no modifications to the reviewed financial results which were       
released on SENS on Thursday, 29 March 2012.                                    
Notice of the annual general meeting                                            
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of CEL shareholders      
will be held at 08h00 on Thursday, 8 November 2012 at 5 Fitzmaurice Avenue,     
Epping, Cape Town, to transact the business as stated in the annual general     
meeting notice.                                                                 
Record dates                                                                    
The notice of annual general meeting have been posted to shareholders of the    
Company who were recorded as such in the Company`s securities register on       
Friday, 22 June 2012.                                                           
The date on which shareholders of the Company must be recorded as such in       
the Company`s securities register in order to attend and vote at the annual     
general meeting is Friday, 2 November 2012. The last day to trade in order      
to be entitled to vote at the annual general meeting is Friday, 26 October      
2012.  Proxy Forms must be lodged by no later than 12h00 on Tuesday, 6          
November 2012.
