ILA - Iliad Africa Limited - Appointment of independent non-executive directors Iliad Africa Limited Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa (Registration number 1997/011938/06) Share Code: ILA ISIN: ZAE000015038 ("Iliad" or "the Company") The Board of Directors of Iliad Africa Limited, the general and specialised building materials supply group, proudly announces that Professor Fatima Abrahams and Mrs Ashika Kalyan have been appointed as independent non- executive directors with immediate effect. Fatima Abrahams is currently a senior professor in the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of the Western Cape, on a part-time basis, and sits as a non-executive director on the boards of numerous listed companies. She is well known for her academic work, has presented papers at national and international conferences and has published in a number of journals and academic texts. She holds B. Econ Hons (Cum Laude) and M.Comm degrees from the University of the Western Cape, and a D.Comm degree in Industrial Psychology from UNISA. Ashika Kalyan holds a BSoc Science Honours degree from the University of Natal. She has enjoyed an outstanding career in marketing, both nationally and internationally, working with household brands such as Microsoft, Nike, Business Connection, Johnson Wax and Nokia, and served as a non-executive director on the board of the Skye Group. The numerous awards bestowed on Ashika over the years bears testament to the success she has achieved.
