KIR - Kairos Industrial Holdings Limited - Trading Statement Kairos Industrial Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1987/002927/06) Share code: KIR ISIN: ZAE000011284 ("the company" or "the Group") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of Kairos Industrial Holdings hereby announces thatthey are reasonably certain that in respect of the six month period ended 31 August 2011: headline loss per share is expected to be between 70% and 90% greaterthan for the comparativeperiod ended 31 August 2010; and profit per share is expected to be between 15 cents and 17 centsper share compared to a loss for the comparative period ended 31 August 2010 of 16.69 cents per share. The liquidation of Brokrew Industrial (Pty) Limited has resulted in extraordinary adjustments which have had a major effect on the reported earnings for the six months, giving rise to the above improvements, and these will be detailed in the Group`s interim announcement. The impact of accounting solely for the Brokrew liquidation is 24.53 cents per share. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has been reviewed by the company`s auditors.
