RAR - Rare Holdings Limited - Voluntary announcement -trading statement additional disclosure RARE HOLDINGS LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Registration Number: 2002/025247/06 Share Code: RAR ISIN: ZAE000092714 ("Rare" or "the Company") VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT -TRADING STATEMENT ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURE We refer to the trading statement released on SENS on the 27th of September 2011 ("the Announcement"). As per the Announcement, the Company expects a loss per share of between 81.4 cents and 92.2 cents per share for the 12 month period ended 30 June 2011. The expected loss per share range has been calculated on a weighted average number of ordinary shares in issue during the period, which amounts to 104,091,306 shares. 288 750 000 ordinary shares was issued shares at year end. The Company is expected to make a total loss of between R85 million and R95 million for the 12 month period ended 30 June 2011. The Company is expected to make a total headline loss of between R57 million and R63 million during the 12 month period ended 30 June 2011. The headline loss per share of between 54.5 cents and 60.9 cents per share, as announced, is based on the weighted average number of ordinary shares in issue.
