EQS - Eqstra Holdings Limited - Trading statement Eqstra Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1998/011672/06) Share code: EQS & ISIN:ZAE000117123 ("Eqstra") TRADING STATEMENT In compliance with section 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements ("JSE"), issuers are obliged to provide guidance to the market when they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from the results of the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, the Board of Eqstra ("Board") makes the following statement. The Board is satisfied that Eqstra is trading profitably and anticipates its headline earnings per share and earnings per share, for the year ended 30 June 2011, to be at least 60 cents per share, compared to the reported loss per share of 19.6 cents and a headline loss per share of 21.7 cents for the year ended 30 June 2010. More specific guidance, as required by the JSE, will be provided to shareholders as soon as there is a reasonable degree of certainty. The Group`s year-end results will be released on SENS on Tuesday 23 August 2011.
