The Group`s November 2010 tender sale of South African production amounted to R100.6 million (12,360 carats at an average price of US$1,145 per carat and exchange rate of R7.10 / US$). 10 Single stones were sold for an average price of more than US$10,000 per carat and one stone of 23.22 carats, from Baken Mine, sold for over US$30,000 per carat. Project Luana in Angola, in which Trans Hex holds a 33% stake, realized a total of US$2.33 million for its November sale (5,700 carats at an average price of US$409 per carat). Both sales reflect continued strong demand and increasing prices for Trans Hex`s rough diamond production.
