TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
Shareholders are advised that Vunani is finalising its results for the year     
ended 31 December 2009 and anticipates that the group will reflect a basic loss 
per share of between 11.8 cents and 14.4 cents (2008: basic loss per share 60.7 
cents) and a headline loss per share of between 11.3 cents and 13.9 cents (2008:
headline loss per share 58.8 cents).                                            
The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been    
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.                              
The company`s results for the year ended 31 December 2009 are expected to be    
released on SENS on 31 March 2010.
