NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                        
Further to the publication of the Sanlam Group`s audited results for the year   
ended 31 December 2007 on 6 March 2008, shareholders are advised that its 2007  
annual report, which incorporates the audited financial statements for that     
period, has been dispatched. The annual report contains no modifications to the 
audited results which were published on 6 March 2008. The annual report is also 
available on the Sanlam website www.sanlam.co.za.                               
The annual general meeting of shareholders will be held on Wednesday, 4 June    
2008 at 14:00 at the Sanlam head office in Bellville as set out in the annual   
general meeting notice. The notice accompanies the Sanlam 2007 annual report and
is available on the website.
