CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                               
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, the
following information is disclosed:                                             
Following his retirement from John Deere Construction and Forestry Company,     
Mr Roger L Bridges, a nominated non-executive Director, has resigned from the   
Bell board with immediate effect. Simultaneously Mr Douglas M Gage, currently an
alternate non-executive Director, has been appointed a full Director in his     
place.                                                                          
The Board thanks Roger Bridges for his contribution and wishes him well in his  
retirement.
