DECLARATION OF CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE DIVIDENDS                                  
Notice is hereby given that the following cumulative preference dividends have  
been declared:                                                                  
6.5% CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE SHARES - DIVIDEND NO. 76                             
A dividend at the rate of 6.5% per annum in respect of the six months ending 31 
January 2007 (equivalent to 6.5 cents per share per annum) (2005: 6.5 cents per 
share per annum) payable on Monday 5 February 2007 to preference shareholders   
recorded as such in the register of the Company at the close of business on the 
record date, Friday 2 February 2007. The last day to trade to participate in the
dividend is Friday 26 January 2007.                                             
6% CUMULATIVE PREFERENCE SHARES - DIVIDEND NO. 76                               
A dividend at the rate of 6.0% per annum in respect of the six months ending 31 
January 2007 (equivalent to 6.0 cents per share per annum) (2005: 6.0 cents per 
share per annum) payable on Monday 5 February 2007 to preference shareholders   
recorded as such in the register of the Company at the close of business on the 
record date, Friday 2 February 2007. The last day to trade to participate in the
dividend is Friday 26 January 2007.
