Group Five - Establishment of a domestic medium term note programme and credit rating GROUP FIVE LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1969/000032/06) Share code: GRF & ISIN: ZAE000027405 ("Group Five" or "the company") ESTABLISHMENT OF A DOMESTIC MEDIUM TERM NOTE PROGRAMME AND CREDIT RATING Nedbank Capital, a division of Nedbank Limited ("Nedbank Capital") is authorised to announce that Group Five, through its major wholly owned subsidiary Group Five Construction (Proprietary) Limited, has established a R1 billion Domestic Medium Term Note Programme ("DMTN Programme") to be registered on the Bond Exchange South Africa on Thursday, 7 December 2006. The DMTN Programme is guaranteed by Group Five. The DMTN programme will broaden the company"s ability to access capital via the South African debt capital market. It is anticipated that the first debut issue under the DMTN Programme will take place in the first quarter of 2007. Global Credit Ratings has accorded Group Five a long-term credit rating of A (Single A) and a short-term rating of A1 (A one). The rating outlook on the company is stable.
