     Trading statement                                                          
Sekunjalo is currently finalising its results for the twelve months to 31  
     August 2006, which are scheduled for release on or about 28th November     
     2006.                                                                      
     As highlighted in the interim results, the group has experienced a strong  
performance from its business units and investments and is pleased to      
     report to shareholders that:-                                              
     Headline earnings per share for the 12 months ended 31st August 2006 will  
     be 360% to 380% higher than the corresponding prior period; and            
Earnings per share for the 12 months ended 31st August 2006 will be 30% to 
     50% higher than the corresponding prior period.                            
     Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been reviewed  
     and reported on by the group"s auditors. These disclosures are made in     
terms of paragraph 3.4 (b)(i) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements     
     which require companies to publish a trading statement as soon as they are 
     satisfied that the results for the period to be reported on next will      
     differ by at least 20% from the previous corresponding period.
