NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                        
Shareholders are advised that the Annual Report for the year ended 28 February  
2006 was dispatched on 31 August 2006 and contains no material modifications to 
the reviewed results published on 31 May 2006.                                  
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders of Labat 
will be held at 3pm on Friday, 6 October 2006 in the main boardroom of Labat,   
Island House, Constantia Park Centre, Corner 14th Avenue and Hendrik Potgieter  
Road, Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort, to transact the business stated in the      
notice of the annual general meeting, which is contained in the Annual Report.
