RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                                           
Java Capital is authorised to announce the results of the annual general meeting
of shareholders of Famous Brands convened on Wednesday, 19 July 2006 in terms of
the notice of the annual general meeting contained in the Famous Brands annual  
report issued on 20 June 2006.                                                  
All of the resolutions were passed by the requisite majority of Famous Brands   
shareholders.
