In compliance with the JSE Limited"s Listings Requirements, LPC Manhattan Moela 
is hereby authorised to announce the resignation of Mrs Nesta Glover as the     
Company Secretary of Argent with effect from 1 April 2006.  Mrs Glover is       
leaving the company in order to pursue other business opportunities.            
Ms Lindsay Grobler shall be appointed as the Company Secretary of Argent with   
effect from 1 April 2006.
