Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement released on SENS by MTN
on 20 October 2005 in respect of negotiations, which were taking place at that  
time.                                                                           
Shareholders are advised that the negotiations are no longer ongoing and        
accordingly caution is no longer required to be exercised by shareholders when  
dealing in MTN securities.
