the following changes to the board with effect from 5 August 2005.              
-    Mr Roger L Bridges (USA) has been appointed a non executive director;      
-    Mr SCM Nyembezi, a non executive director, has resigned;                   
-    Mr CD Anderson (USA), a non executive director, has retired from John Deere
     and resigned from the Bell Equipment Board.                                
The Board acknowledges with appreciation the contribution that Doug Anderson and
Sipho Nyembezi have made in the company"s affairs"
