Cankurtaran Holding A.S. Turkey                                                 
The Directors of Nu-World Holdings Ltd and Cankurtaran Holding A.S. of Turkey   
are pleased to announce the acquisition of Conti South Africa by Nu-World       
Holdings Ltd                                                                    
Effective 31 May 2003                                                           
Nu-World Industries (Pty) Ltd Will be the exclusive South African manufacturer  
and distributor of Conti branded products as from 1 June 2003                   
The acquisition includes the exclusive assignment of the Conti brand to Nu-World
Holdings Ltd for Southern Africa                                                
The acquisition constitutes less than a category 4 transaction as defined by JSE
Securities Exchange South Africa. The acquisition is however subject to the     
approval of the Competition Commission.
