UPDATE ON THE DELAY IN PUBLICATION OF AUDITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited
on 14 February 2025, wherein it was advised that the publication of AYO's audited annual financial statements
for the year ended 31 August 2024 ("Audited Results") would take place on or about 28 February 2025 following
delays in the finalisation of the audit.
In the continued spirit of transparency and engagement, AYO regrets to inform stakeholders that it is still awaiting
the finalisation of the Auditor's Engagement Quality Control Review ("EQCR"). EQCR is a standard process for
listed entities to ensure continuity, accuracy, and compliance with auditing standards. An EQCR process therefore
serves to reinforce confidence in financial reporting. As such, the Company is unable to publish its Audited Results
today, 28 February 2025 as anticipated. AYO's management is doing everything possible to support the Auditors
in completing their processes as expediently as possible.
The board of directors ("the Board") assures AYO shareholders of its determination to resolve the matter
promptly and appreciates its stakeholders' patience and understanding as it works to ensure the accuracy and
integrity of the Audited Results. The Board remains fully committed to keeping the market informed of all
developments.
