APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Shareholders are advised that Ms Lindiwe Evarista Mthimunye has been appointed as an
independent non executive director to the Blue Label Board (“the Board”), as a member to the
Blue Label Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and as a member of the Social, Ethics and
Transformation Committee with effect from 01 November 2022.

Ms Mthimunye is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and has extensive governance, finance and
business experience, having worked in investment banking and also as chief financial officer. She
is an experienced non-executive director and currently serves on the boards of Massmart,
Metrofile and Sabvest Capital and most recently at Cell C where she was the Chairperson of the
Liquidity Committee.

The Board takes great pleasure in welcoming Ms Mthimunye and wishes her a long and
prosperous career with the Group.
