* The number of shares is based on the default notes conversion ratio of 3 Bytes Technology Group
shares and cash to the value of 1 Bytes Technology Group share for every 8 Allied Electronics Corp A
share held. Bytes Technology Group has been added using the mid-point of the price range confirmed
by the company. Due to the cash element, the demerger will not be index market capitalisation
neutral.
The ICB classification for Bytes Technology Group will be 9533 (Computer Services) upon addition. The
ICB classification will be updated to 9537 (Software) effective from the open 21 December 2020 (at
the earliest).
Please note:
Bytes Technology Group will be held static in the indexes until it commences trading, it is expected to
commence trading on a conditional basis on 11 December, and unconditionally from 17 December
2020.
Shareholders can elect to redeem the notes received in exchange for more cash up until 09 December,
and there will also be a primary offering of Bytes Technology Group shares conducted, further Index
Notices will be released once the results are known, with any further change effective in conjunction
with the review, effective from the open 21 December 2020 (at the earliest).
Bytes Technology Group will be a secondary inward listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The
IFL free float will be reflected at the March 2021 review.
