AMS - Anglo American Platinum Limited - Anglo American Platinum Limited signs wage agreement ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM LIMITED (previously Anglo Platinum Limited) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1946/022452/06) ISIN: ZAE000013181 Share Code: AMS ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM LIMITED SIGNS WAGE AGREEMENT Anglo American Platinum Limited (Amplats) has formally signed a wage agreement with the National Union of Mine Workers (NUM), National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) and United Association of South Africa (UASA), resulting from this year`s wage negotiation process. The details of the agreement are as follows: Wage increase Year 1: 10% A to B Bands 8.5% C to D1 Bands Year 2: 9% A and B 8% C to D1 Bands Or alternatively In the event that the twelve month average year on year Consumer Price Index (CPI) equals 8% in year 2 the wage increase will be 8% plus 2% for C and D1 bands and 9% plus 2% for A and B bands.
