S&P Credit Rating Announcement



On 25 November 2020, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) affirmed its “BB-” long-term foreign and local
currency issue ratings on Transnet’s senior unsecured debt and “BB” on local currency issue rating
on Transnet’s South African rand (ZAR) 3.5 billion government guaranteed debt.

S&P also affirmed its “zaAA” long term and “zaA-1+” short term South Africa national scale ratings
on Transnet. The outlook remains stable.
