CORRECTION TO [01 SEPTEMBER 2023] ANNOUNCEMENT: APPOINTMENT OF NON-
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE TRANSNET BOARD OF DIRECTORS


In terms of paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements, the Issuer advises Noteholders
that Mr Clarence Benjamin has been appointed as Non-Executive Director on the Transnet Board
of Directors with effect from 1 September 2023. The appointment was made by the shareholder
minister in accordance with Transnet’s Memorandum of Incorporation.

Mr Benjamin is a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) and brings with him extensive experience
and expertise in auditing, accounting, compliance and risk management having been in both
private and public sectors for over 25 years.

The Transnet Board of Directors welcomes Mr Benjamin and looks forward to his contribution to
the Board.
