Changes to the directors at a board level and company secretary at a branch level

Bondholders are advised of the following directors appointed to the board of Bank of China Limited,
the Parent company of BOC Johannesburg Branch:

   •   Mr W Wei as Executive director with effect from 30 June 2020;
   •   Mr C Jianbo as Non-executive director with effect from 30 June 2020;
   •   Ms C Chunhua as Independent non-executive director with effect from 20 July 2020; and
   •   Mr CSP Jose as Independent non-executive director with effect form 11 September 2020.

The reasons for the above appointments to the board of Bank of China Limited are to enhance the
skill and knowledge of the board and such appointments were made pursuant to Bank of China
Limited’s policy in relation to nomination of directors.

In addition, Mr A Cameron has resigned and is replaced by Ms S Moodley as company secretary of
BOC Johannesburg Branch with effect from 23 October 2020.
