of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 and managed by Investec Fund
Managers SA (RF) (Pty) Limited.
ZGOVI - Delisting of Zshares GOVI Securities
The Trustees of the Zshares Collective Investment Scheme have decided to wind up the portfolio
in accordance with section 102 of the Collective Investment Schemes Act 45 of 2002.
Unit holders are advised that the JSE Limited (“the JSE”) and the Financial Services Board (“the
FSB”) have approved the redemption of all ZGOVI participatory interests listed on the JSE. This
will result in the delisting and discontinuation of the Zshares GOVI Exchange Traded Fund.
The final terms and date of redemption and delisting are as follows:
Last day of trade in Participatory Interests (“PIs”) 20 January 2014
Suspension of market making & liquidation of assets (at close of 20 January 2014
business)
Suspension of listing on the JSE 21 January 2014
SENS announcement of the amount of the proceeds 24 January 2014
Record date to determine the register of PIs 27 January 2014
Redemption of PIs and distribution of proceeds 28 January 2014
De-listing of PIs on JSE – from commencement of trade 29 January 2014
Please note that unit holders are entitled to disinvest from the fund up until the Last Day of Trade,
which will be on 20 January 2014. Those unit holders who choose not to disinvest before such
date will receive the full market value of the investment as at the liquidation date. Proceeds of
which will be paid out on or about 28 January 2014. The final payment will be of a capital nature
and investors may therefore be subject to Capital Gains Tax in their own capacities.
