NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 and that the audit report prepared by BOC
Johannesburg Branch’s auditors, Ernst & Young Incorporated, relating to the AFS is unqualified.

BOC Johannesburg Branch’s annual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 are
available for inspection at BOC Johannesburg Branch’s registered office at 15 Alice Lane, Sandton,
Johannesburg, 2196 and on its website at www.bankofchina.com/za/en (under investor relations).

In addition, and for information purposes, BOC Johannesburg Branch advises that the annual financial
statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 of its parent company, Bank of China Limited, are
