TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MAY 2023



In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's Listing Requirements, a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree
of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will differ, by at
least 20%, from those of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are reminded that the
Company changed its year end from 31 August 2022 to 31 May 2022 and so the comparative period
is for the nine months ended 31 May 2022 ("Comparable Period").

Shareholders are advised that the Company will reflect an increased loss for the year ended 31 May
2023 compared to the Comparable Period.

-   The loss per share is expected to increase by 104.29% to (14.30) cents when compared to the
    loss per share of (7.0) cents for the Comparable Period.
-   The headline loss per share is expected to increase by 26.14% to (7.19) cents when compared
    to the headline loss per share of (5.70) cents for the Comparable Period.
