APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE TRANSNET BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In terms of paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements, the Issuer advises Noteholders
that Mr Clarence Benjamin has been appointed as Non-Executive Director on the Transnet Board
of Directors with effect from 1 September 2023.

Mr Benjamin is a CA(SA) and brings with him expertise in auditing, accounting, compliance and
risk management having been in both private and public sectors for over 25 years.
