CHANGES TO BOARD AND COMMITTEE FUNCTIONS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(c) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, bondholders
are hereby advised that, upon recommendation from KAP’s nomination committee, the KAP
board of directors (“Board”) approved the following changes to functions of directors on the
Board and the KAP audit & risk committee, as part of the Board’s long-term succession
planning:

    -   With effect from 1 September 2020, Ken Hopkins will become the chairman of the KAP
        audit & risk committee replacing Pat Quarmby (“Pat”), who will remain a member of
        the KAP audit & risk committee.
    -   With effect from 18 November 2020, Pat will become KAP’s lead independent
        non-executive director in order to fully align the composition of the Board with the
        recommendations of the King IV Report on Corporate Governance™ for South Africa,
        2016.

The Board looks forward to the influences of these directors in their new roles.
