APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE AFRIMAT BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 6.71 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited (“Listings
Requirements”), the board of directors of the Company (“the Board”) is pleased to announce
the appointment of Mrs Renganayagee (Rojie) Kisten as a non-executive director of the
Company with effect from today, 1 September 2026.

This appointment forms part of the Company's continued focus on strengthening the Board's
collective skills and experience and enhancing its governance and strategic direction.

Mrs Kisten is an accomplished and extensively experienced financial services professional. She
holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Durban-Westville
and an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Stellenbosch. She
has also completed the General Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

She brings more than three decades of experience across insurance, banking, asset
management and capital raising, across local and global markets. She held various executive
management roles at both Old Mutual Limited and Sanlam Investments.

Mrs Kisten brings considerable board experience, currently serving as a non-executive director
of Sanlam Investments Holdings, NMSIS, Ooba Proprietary Limited and the Vumelana Fund,
and as a member of the Investment Committee of the Sanlam Infrastructure Fund.

The Board confirms, in compliance with paragraph 6.73 of the Listings Requirements, that a fit-
and-proper assessment has been conducted and that the Board is satisfied with the outcome.
Additionally, the Company confirms that there are no matters to report in respect of the integrity
information contained in the director’s declaration.

The Board welcomes Mrs Kisten and looks forward to the valuable contribution that her
extensive experience and insight will bring to Afrimat.
