APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                           
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,  
the board of directors of Hardware hereby notifies its shareholders that Leonard
Tebbutt has been appointed as an independent non-executive director to the board
of the Company as well as member of the Audit Committee with immediate effect.  
Leonard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988. He owned and managed his   
own audit practice from 2005 to 2011 which he sold to a national firm in 2011.  
He is currently the acting financial director for Amatola Water Board based in  
East London.                                                                    
The board welcomes Leonard and looks forward to his contribution to Hardware.
