UPDATE ON THE DISPOSAL OF ESKOM FINANCE COMPANY SOC LIMITED


On 5 December 2024, Eskom informed the market that it had accepted a binding offer from African
Bank Limited ("African Bank") for the staff home loan book and assets housed in Eskom Finance
Company SOC Limited and its interest in Nqaba Finance 1 RF Limited (the "Disposal").


The parties have now concluded and signed the various agreements to regulate the transaction.


Following the conclusion of the agreements, the parties will proceed to make the applications to
obtain applicable Regulatory approvals, such as the Competition Commission.


Eskom will continue to keep stakeholders informed in regard to the conclusion of the Disposal.
