                              CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS



In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
hereby advised that Mr Khalid Abdulla has been appointed as an Executive Director in the position of
Executive Deputy Chairman to the board of AYO Technology with effect from 12 March 2020.


Mr Abdulla will be primarily responsible for overseeing and fulfilling the Company’s medium to long term
acquisition strategy.


Mr. Abdulla has five degrees and qualifications which includes an MBA from the University of Cape Town
(UCT) GSB, a B. Compt (Honours) and a CTA from University of South Africa (UNISA), as well as a Project
Management qualification from UCT.


Mr. Abdulla is a multi-award winning business leader with a solid track record, who served as the CEO of
various subsidiaries within the AEEI Group of Companies since 1999 including the Information Technology,
the Capital and Financial Services Businesses and later as Group CFO in 2007 before being appointed
Group CEO in November 2009. He has over 35 years’ commercial experience amongst other in the fishing,
information technology, and financial services. Under his leadership, the Group grew consistently year on
year to currently become a multi-billion Rand organisation. Mr. Abdulla has also been appointed to and
serves on the Boards of various businesses and NGOs.
Mr Abdulla has previously, as group CEO of AEEI, successfully developed and implemented the Vision
2020 Vision strategy which included amongst other the listing of the Ayo Technology.
