CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are advised that enX is in discussions regarding a possible divestment by the
Company of its interest in Eqstra Investment Holdings Proprietary Limited ("Potential
Transaction"), which, if successful, could have a material impact on the Company’s share
price.

The Potential Transaction will, if concluded, constitute a category 1 transaction in terms of the
JSE Listing Requirements and an effected transaction in terms of the Companies Act, 71 of
2008, and will require the approval via special resolution of enX shareholders in general meeting.

Shareholders are therefore advised to exercise caution when trading in their enX shares until a
further announcement in this regard is made.

The board of directors of enX collectively and individually accept responsibility for the
information contained in this announcement and certify that, to the best of their knowledge and
belief, the information contained in this announcement relating to enX is true and this
