FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT

Shareholders of Quantum Foods (“Shareholders”) are referred to the announcement published on SENS
on Thursday, 4 March 2021 (“Previous Announcement”), advising Shareholders that, inter alia, for the
six-month period ended 31 March 2021 (“Current Reporting Period”) a reasonable degree of certainty
exists that both the headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) and earnings per share (“EPS”) of the Company
will be at least 20% lower than reported in the six-month period ended 31 March 2020 (“Previous
Corresponding Period”).

Further to the Previous Announcement, Shareholders are hereby advised that the Company is in the
process of finalising its financial results for the Current Reporting Period and expects both the HEPS and
EPS of the Company to be between 25.9 cents and 27.6 cents, being a decrease of between 20% and
25% from the HEPS and EPS of 34.5 cents reported in the Previous Corresponding Period.

The results for the six-month period ended 31 March 2021 are expected to be published on SENS on or
about Thursday, 20 May 2021.
